2025 Zuhre’s World – 3rd Annual Turkey Giveaway

In partnership with The River Church WPB, with additional outreach on Tamarind Avenue and at Prosperity Farms Nursing Home.

During the Thanksgiving season of 2025, Zuhre’s World proudly hosted our 3rd Annual Turkey Giveaway in partnership with The River Church WPB. Our original goal was to serve 400 families, but thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors and the dedication of our volunteers, we were blessed to serve 500 families.

Each family received a whole turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and gravy, helping bring warmth, dignity, and hope to their holiday tables.

This year was especially meaningful as we welcomed more women and youth volunteers than ever before, showing that our mission continues to grow across generations. We are not only supporting low-income families—we are building a community where young volunteers learn leadership, compassion, and the true meaning of service.

We are deeply grateful for our amazing board members, including Diana Davis, Founder of Movies Making a Difference, Tanya Pergament, and Chip, who—together with Sasha and Mike—lovingly served 40 families on Tamarind Avenue and at Prosperity Farms Nursing Home.

We also celebrate the beautiful heart of our youngest donor and volunteer, Bora Avunduk, along with his family and their children’s friends from our community. Their kindness and generosity truly inspire us.
