Helping Families Write a New Story Around the Table

Thanksgiving has always meant more to me than a holiday. It is a moment to sit together, share what we have, and remind someone that they are not alone.

In 2022, I began our Thanksgiving Campaign in West Palm Beach with a simple wish: to bring a warm meal, dignity, and a little happiness to people in our community who needed it most. That first year, we helped provide Thanksgiving meals for more than 100 people. Since then, this campaign has continued to grow through the generosity of volunteers, donors, sponsors, and friends who believe in the power of giving.

For me, a turkey or a plate of food is never just food. It is an invitation to the table. It is care. It is connection. It is the feeling that someone remembered you.

Seeing families smile, sitting together, and watching our community show up year after year fills my heart in a way that is difficult to describe. This is why Thanksgiving will always be one of the most meaningful chapters of Zuhre’s World.
